A core team of two full time volunteers
Pia founded Pure Oceans, together with her husband Dino, and a whole lot of support from NAUI instructors & owners of Planet Dive Resort in Mabini, Batangas – Joey & Dennis. Pia was joined full time by Employee number one & over-used segregation model, Sherryl.
One year into the community work, seasoned serial social entrepreneur Xilca, joined in the meetings with municipal officers, even on the bangka rides to the communities. Eventually joining to be Pure Oceans’ Head of Sustainable Partnerships. Plus she runs Beached Bums too.
Pure Oceans wouldn’t have made it this far without the help of all our collaborators. Marine plastic litter is a giant problem that needs all of the hands, heads and hearts that are willing to take up the challenge.
